Vienna Science Days Zagreb 2025

The "Science Day" focused on technology transfer in research and the impacts of natural events – from damage assessment to possible solutions. The discussions centered on concrete experiences, such as the earthquakes in Zagreb and the flood risks in Vienna. Another important topic was how science and the city could cooperate even more closely in emergency situations.

On "Vienna Day" several future-oriented topics were discussed – including affordable housing and aspects of sustainable urban development such as the "Climate Model City". In addition, the role of artificial intelligence (AI) was explored.

The event provided a unique platform for Vienna and Zagreb to exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences – and to jointly inspire new impulses for the livable city of tomorrow.
